Dep Violinist – BBC Concert Orchestra

The BBC Concert Orchestra requires a dep section violinist for a televised Proms Matinee concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Programme: Elgar Symphony No. 1, Britten Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings. There is a morning rehearsal (10am–12:30pm) followed by the afternoon concert (2pm). Parts available from the BBC library — please request promptly. Applicants should be ABRSM Grade 8 equivalent or higher and have experience in professional or semi-professional orchestral playing. Full orchestral attire required (tails/long black).
